It’s time for date night! Joe & I arrived at the Mexican restaurant, Cocina, on level 4 of Castle Mall & were greeted by a friendly member of staff. The atmosphere was very welcoming & we didn’t feel like we were inside a shopping centre at all!
The vibe was amazing & we loved the day of the dead decor. Our placemats gave a history of Norwich from 61 AD to present day which we thought was a fantastic touch!
We tried out the “Pornstar Martini”, “Jack Hammer”, “Adios Mother Bleep” & “Drop it like it’s Hot” cocktails.
The “Pornstar Martini” was very refreshing in this heat, bursting with citrus flavours & with a cheeky shot of prosecco inside a skull shot glass to add to my drink.
“Adios Mother Bleep” is definitely for the sweet-toothed (such as myself), with its delicious fruit juices.
“Jack Hammer” was a tasty surprise of sweet & sour with ginger beer, lime & Jack Daniels.
“Drop it like it’s Hot” is a daring fresh & spicy cocktail containing jalapeños.
We had a brilliant time at Cocinas & wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.
