How to entertain the kids this half term

Here at Castle Quarter, we have lots of great ways to keep the little angels entertained during the half-term holidays and what is even better is they are all great value for money! Here are just a few of ideas ….

Monday | Retro Replay
Take a nostalgic trip to the golden age of the arcades from the 80s space shooters to more modern rhythm games, there is plenty to keep the kids (big and small) entertained in Retro Replay. The team at Retro Replay don’t believe in credits where you pay to play, you just pay entry at the door and you’ll have unlimited access for the day to all the machines which are set on free to play for as long as you’d like!

They have extended their opening hours for half term and are open from 11am all the way through until 9pm!

Tuesday | Superbowl & Crazy Club
Let the kids blow off some steam by running, climbing and sliding to their little hearts’ content at Crazy Club, the Soft Play & Party Centre inside Superbowl UK Norwich.

Prices are;
– Under 1’s £1.00
– Ages 1 – 3 £3.99
– Ages 4 and over £4.75

If you head to Superbowl UK after 6pm Tuesday you can save 50% off your bowling & selected drinks!



Wednesday | Slime Making and Crazy Golf

GMOTFW and SENsational Families charities a Creation Station in the Kastle Kids room where you can make slime! Booking required via www.sensationalfamilies.org.uk

Plus mini golf course will be set up outside PureGym. It will £1 per player, with all proceeds being split between GMOTFW & SENsational Families.

The events run from 10.30am – 3pm, with 1pm-3pm running as dedicated quiet SEN sessions.

Plus there will be a bake sale and refreshments available!



Thursday | Trip to the Cinema
Head to Vue and catch one of the latest releases, with just £4.95 you can’t complain!
Sonic the Hedgehog, Dolittle and Spies in Disguise are our top picks!



Friday | The Creation Station
Join in the fun at the Creation Station in the Community Lounge for a drop-in family crafting workshop from 2pm until 4pm.

Pay £3 per family, then you choose the crafts you want to do! There will be different crafts for you to try out at pocket money prices, plus slime making for children aged 4 and over.
