We are upholding the annual tradition of celebrating kindness because we know everyone can use more kindness in their lives.
Scientific evidence shows us the positive effects of doing kind acts for others as well as receiving or even witnessing kindness. Even the smallest act of kindness can change a life. In 2021, we encourage everyone to Explore the Good and Make Kindness the Norm.
To celebrate the day why not take on the neighborhood challenge? Participating in this personal challenge is simple. Download the handy guide that has a grid of 60 hearts, your goal is to fill in each of those hearts by completing random acts of kindness. The kindness acts are grouped into three categories based on how challenging they are: one-heart activities
(quick and easy), two-heart activities (more involved), and three-heart activities (challenging).
IMAGINE A WORLD WHERE WE CAN SUCCEED BY BEING NICE, WHERE WE ALL LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER, WHERE WE ALL PAY IT FORWARD, AND WHERE KINDNESS IS THE NORM.
BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS PERSONAL CHALLENGE, YOU ARE HELPING TO CREATE THAT WORLD.
How about making being kind fun through a game of bingo? Download the bingo cards here.
You can also get the little ones involved with these fun colouring sheets, that teach them how important and easy acts of kindness are.
