The health and safety of our customers and team is our top priority. We’ve been planning extensively for our reopening and have been working with authorities to implement wide-reaching new safety measures across all venues. We’re focusing on six key areas to ensure you, your family and friends, along with our teams, can join us as safely as possible:
ENHANCED ONLINE BOOKING Booking online is encouraged, making your visit to Vue as contactless as possible. Tickets can be accessed from your smartphone - from your booking confirmation email, through the Vue app or in your Wallet and will be scanned before you go into the screen. Customer details will be required as part of the Test & Trace initiative, to help keep you and others safe for your next visit. For more information see our guest admission policy.
PHYSICALLY DISTANCED SEATING Physical distanced seating meeting government guidelines has been built into our booking system so that you and those in your booking are automatically seated apart from others. FACE MASKS MUST BE WORN UNLESS EATING AND DRINKING All customers are required to wear a face covering during their visit, although you are able to remove this to consume food and drink. Our Safety Team will be on hand to remind customers about this.
ENHANCED CLEANING AND EMPLOYEE PROTECTION, INCLUDING PPE Hand sanitiser will be available throughout our venues for both customers and staff members. Enhanced cleaning measures will be implemented including disinfecting every screen, including every arm rest, between each screening, with additional cleaning time made available for this. Staff will be equipped with PPE to protect them and you. A member of our new, designated Safety Team will ensure that customers also adhere to our protocols during their visit. Every member of staff will undergo 2 days of training so that they are able to confidently work with our new protocols, to look after themselves and our customers.
REDUCED TOUCHPOINTS We’ve reduced the number of touchpoints through our foyers and into our screens. Contactless payments are encouraged, up to the value of £45 and Apple Pay and Google Pay will be available at till points. Screen doors will remain open until the film starts. Signs and floor markings will clearly guide you through the venue and you may be asked to exit through a different door.
STAGGERED FILM TIMES We’re staggering film start and end times to maintain physical distancing and reduce the number of people at any one time in our foyer and corridors.
FULLY REFUNDABLE TICKETS We want to ensure that you have full peace of mind ahead of your next trip to your local Vue. All tickets are fully refundable (including booking fees) meaning you can book with confidence knowing our customer service team will happily refund your tickets if you or your friends and family are feeling unwell ahead of your next visit. WHAT YOU CAN DO If you or a member of your booking feels unwell, for the safety of our customers and staff, we ask you not to attend your screening. If you have already booked your tickets, please contact our Customer Service Team who will be able to help with your booking.
