Join the Mini Olympics at Castle Quarter!

Get Ready for a Summer of Sports Fun!

As the world celebrates the Paris Olympics, join us at Castle Quarter for our own Mini Olympics! Every Thursday in August, White Lion Square transforms into a vibrant sports zone, offering exciting activities for families to enjoy — for free!

Event: Mini Track Day

Date: Thursday, August 1st

Time: 12pm – 4pm

Description: Kick off the month with exhilarating activities like mini hurdles, long jump and an obstacle course. Bring your energy and compete for fun!

Event: Mini Field Day

Date: Thursday, August 8th

Time: 12pm – 4pm

Description: Test your skills with foam archery, hoop toss and bean bag toss. Perfect for all ages, these challenges will bring out your competitive spirit!

Event: Footpool

Date: Thursday, August 15th

Time: 12pm – 4pm

Description: Enjoy a unique blend of football and pool! This fun twist on both sports is perfect for all ages and skill levels.

Event: Mini Sports

Date: Thursday, August 22nd

Time: 12pm – 4pm

Description: Dive into a variety of sports including basketball, boxing and badminton. It’s a great way to try something new and have a blast!

Event: Indoor Surfing

Date: Thursday, August 29th

Time: 12pm – 4pm

Description: Catch the wave on our indoor surf simulator! Experience the thrill of surfing without getting wet—ideal for aspiring surfers of all ages.

Become a Mini Olympic Champion!

Participate in our Mini Olympic events to collect stamps in your special Olympic Passport, collect 3 stamps to earn a Gold Medal and be entered into our draw for a £250 day out at Castle Quarter! T&Cs apply* 

*Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Entries to the Mini Olympics Prize Draw are via the Castle Quarter Mini Olympics Passports only. 
  2. The Mini Olympics Prize Draw will be open for entries from 1st – 31st August 2024 
  3. To enter you must attend 3 of the Mini Olympics events, held on Thursdays in August and collect a stamp.  Once 3 stamps have been collected on the Mini Olympics passport, complete your contact details and drop your passport into the entry postbox in White Lion Square.  
  4. One winner will be picked on Monday 2nd September 2024.
  5. The prize is £250 to spend in shops/venues of the winner’s choice in Castle Quarter, Norwich.
  6. Prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred.  
  7. No cash alternative is available.
  8. The winners will be contacted via the contact details used to enter the competition.  
  9. Winners must make contact and arrange the collection of their prize within 7 days or risk missing the event and the prize being forfeited.  Prizes do not need to be collected immediately. 
  10. Prizes need to be collected from the Management Office and cannot be posted.
  11. Employees of Castle Quarter and their relatives are not permitted to enter this competition.
  12. To be eligible to win the above prizes, entrants must follow the instructions on the Castle Quarter Facebook & Instagram pages.
  13. By entering the promotion, you accept these terms & conditions and agree to participate in any publicity associated with this promotion. If the entrants fail to agree to these terms & conditions, they will be automatically excluded from the promotion.
  14. Details of the competition and prizes are correct at the time of publication but are subject to change without prior notice.
  15. The Promoter and Partners have arranged this competition in good faith and cannot accept liability in any matter relating to the prizes whatsoever.
  16. The entrants’ personal information may be used only by our staff internally for the purposes of the promotion and will not be passed on to any third parties other than where legally or contractually obliged. Friends tagged as part of the entry requirement will not be contacted.
  17. The Promoters must make available on request the name and county of major prizewinners. By entering into the competition, you are consenting to this information being publicised. Prizewinners will not be compromised by the publication of excessive personal information.
  18. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. If any circumstances out of The Promoter’s control mean that the competition prize advertised is not available, The Promoter reserves the right to (without prior notice): (a) cancel the promotion; and or (b) substitute the competition prize for another amount of less value.
