The YMCA store will allow customers can enjoy thrifty finds and sustainable, environmentally friendly shopping which supports the local community. YMCA Norfolk is part of the largest youth charity in the world and is well respected for its work in transforming the lives of young people. Its new charity shop is due to open on the ground floor of Castle Quarter and will sell good quality, second-hand items including clothes, furniture, electricals, books and homewares. The shop’s proceeds will support the charity’s work in making a difference to the lives of young people and families across Norfolk. The new YMCA shop will also create job and volunteering opportunities for people in the city. The charity is currently recruiting for a part-time Charity Assistant Store Manager and is actively seeking more volunteers to join the team.
