Itaewon is an independent Asian supermarket that has expanded its presence at Castle Quarter by taking on another unit, growing by 100 square metres. Due to its rising popularity, the owners have created a larger and more spacious shopping experience while introducing an even wider range of Korean and Asian products, snacks, drinks and fresh ingredients.
The launch will also introduce “Moya Gachapon” to Norwich, featuring 18 Japanese capsule toy vending machines in the store inspired by the famous gachapon culture found across Japan and South Korea.
Owner of Itaewon Korean Supermarket, Adrian Moya, says the expansion reflects the growing popularity of Korean culture, K-pop and Asian cuisine across Norwich and the wider UK, with increasing demand for authentic products and experiences.
