New U is a clothing and accessories shop with a difference.

New-U is a unique shop operating on the basis of donate, swap or loan with no cash transactions. Customers will be able to bring 10 items of clothing/ accessories they no longer want and swap for vouchers to spend in the store. We have womenswear, menswear and childrenswear.

  1. 1. bring in your unloved clothes
  2. 2. swap them for points
  3. 3. spend your points in store
  4. 4. leave as a new-u!

New-U also has a loan scheme set up to provide ‘smart’ clothing that young adults can borrow for job interviews or similar occasions.

The New-U shop is also set up to give young people the skills and confidence to progress into employment by offering retail work experience placements in a supportive environment.

New-U is a partnership between OPEN Youth Trust and Talent Match New Anglia and funded through The Big Lottery Fund.
